This policy explains how Cross Mercer Law handles information collected through this website (crossmercerlaw.com).
What we collect
The case-review form. If you send the form, we receive what you type: your name, phone number, optional email, the type of dispute, the company involved, the timing, an approximate amount and your description. It is emailed to our intake team so a person can review it. The website itself does not keep a copy.
Server logs. Like nearly every website, our server records basic technical details of each visit (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to build profiles of visitors.
No tracking. This site does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or social-media pixels.
How we use it
We use form information only to respond to you and evaluate your matter. We do not sell or rent it. We do not share it except with people who help us operate the firm and the website under confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires.
Not an attorney-client communication
Information sent through the form before we agree to represent you is not covered by an attorney-client relationship. Please send only the basics. See our disclaimer.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please don’t include medical records, Social Security numbers or account numbers in the form.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
